Beach and summer fun

It's raining it's pouring... Sorry I have not updated in a while but we have been busy with beach vacations and summer fun! Below are some of the things we have been up to.

Juliet has started to get into wearing her sunglasses and thinks she is super cool when she puts them on.

We went to the beach the first week of August for Ba Ba's 60th birthday and it was a blast. Juliet was a total beach bum and got to eat a lot of "fun" stuff like ice cream with her cousin Allison (she was so sweet to share!) and the boys gave her candy and fun slushy drinks. She also spent hours "swimming" in the pool and would cry when we would make her get out. It would get cold and she needed to eat so we were not trying to mean by taking her out of the pool but Juliet was not happy we did not let her swim for 12 hours straight. The beach life is for her!

Juliet loves to pretend to clean and we were eating dinner and she entertained herself with the duster for a long time while we finished dinner.

Off to the ocean with daddy! At first she was a little afraid of the ocean

 but not by the end of the trip.

By the end of the trip when Juliet wanted to go to the ocean she would say "Stay there mommy, I'll be right back." and I would reply "Where are you going?" "To the ocean. be back, one minute" she would say back with one finger up to sign the one minute. Really??? How old are you?

Happy 4th of July Everyone! We had a great time at our friends "The Abernathy's" for the 4th of July, Juliet got to play with her good friends Miranda and Annalise. John and I also celebrated our 7th Wedding anniversary on the 3rd of July.

Juliet's second airplane ride but this time she understood what was going on and was VERY excited to ride on an airplane. She was such a good girl on the plane and only cried once when we had to leave the airplane. She kept saying " More airplane", "Next Airplane Ride" and "High in the sky" Ha Ha, maybe she will be a pilot one day.

We are flying to see my Grandmother, Anunt, Uncle and Cousin in Indiana

We got to ride 1st class on the way to Indiana because my cousin is a pilot on US air and he pulled some stings for us, thanks Jake!

One the way back we have a very early flight (6am) but Juliet was still all smiles about riding the airplane

22 months

Juliet Loves riding the horses at the mall! We have been having a lot of summer time fun lately and here is a little bit about what we have been up to.

She say's "up and down" when she is one the horses and likes to pet them, I wonder if she thinks they are real horses! ha ha

I love this face! Juliet has some crazy facial expressions and goes through a lot of emotions in one day, I guess that is part of being a toddler! Here we are blueberry picking with Ba Ba.

Cheese! Juliet has learned that when you say cheese and point a camera at her she is suppose to give a big smile, here she is smiling for us. We were visiting our previous nanny Ms. Amanda who has gotten a big time job! We are so proud of her!

We had a very fun play date with Zoe and Finn! Juliet has so much fun that she fell asleep while we were taking a little break and watching a few minutes of sesame street, ha ha!

We went to adventure park USA and Juliet loved it, she rode every ride she was allowed to ride. Here she is on the tea cups all by herself.

The whole family is on the Tilt-A-Wirl! She called this the Dizzy ride and loved it.

We had to get ice cream! That is part of the fun, Juliet is a big fan.

Juliet loves to party!

Hello, here are a few of the things we have been doing. Juliet is pretty much talking in full sentences and has been a fighting naps and bedtime pretty often, she likes to stay up late in the summer I guess??? The Thomas family came to visit us last weekend and we did lots of fun things like go to the petting zoo :) It's crazy she is almost 2 years old, time is flying.

Juliet has been going to a lot of kid and adult parties and she is LOVING it! She realizes there is speical treats there like cupcakes and lots of kids and toys to play with!



Playing at Annlise's house where we were having her Uncle Travis's birthday party and she told me "Mommy I'm a party girl" and was yelling "UP ALL NIGHT!" ha ha, that night she went to sleep by 7 because she skipped her nap to play with all the kids
