Baby Caleb is starting to sleep in his crib

Since I'm going back to work soon I thought I would try Caleb and his crib (and he's down to two night feedings a night -most the time!) I thought it was time he got used to his room! We tried for the first time about three nights ago & he had no problem sleeping in his crib at night till about 4am when he gets gassy and sleeps in our room. Napping is going to be a bigger challenge because he likes to be really close to me when he naps but he has gone down for a nap in his crib twice so progess!

Caleb's weight 11pounds 13 ounces and in the 50th percent 

Height 23 inches and an half - in the 50th percent for height also

8 weeks and time is flying!

Having a baby is so fun!!! Yes I am sleep deprived but Caleb is just so cute that it makes up for all of that. Juliet is also so sweet to him and it so nice to see their bond forming already. Juliet is full of energy and has been skipping her nap most days with me. The other night she was so tired she was in bed by 6:45... That's a first! Juliet is doing really well in school and I feel like she is a big sponge learning new things each day :) 

Ba ba came to visit this past weekend and we got to go out with some friends while she had grandmother time! I went to my first murder mystery dinner and ended up solving th case, woo hoo! 

Caleb 7 weeks

Words can't express enough how much I love my little people! Caleb is 7 weeks today and such a happy guy. It is so easy to make him smile (If he is not hungry or tired!) the only thing I need more of theses day is sleep. But things are getting easier with having two kids alone. Juliet understands more when I have to feed or tend to Caleb and she has a good imagination and is getting better at entertaining herself. Juliet's favorite games right now are princess & dragon (john or I act as the dragon and she is usually the princess) , hid and seek (where she hides in a "tricky, tricky" place). 

Our first trip with the kids to Hersey park! Caleb slept the whole time & Juliet had a blast. 

Caleb 6 weeks

My sweet Caleb is 6 weeks already! He is starting to show his personality. He smilies at john, Juliet and I all the time now. I also think he laughing sometimes he smiles so big. He also talks back to me sometime. I will say "I love you Caleb" and he will coo back to me --- I think that's is his way of saying I love you. His night time sleeping has been pretty regular the last couple days. He wakes at 12, 3, 5, 6 and then up around 7:30. So sleep is hard to come by but that's ok! Caleb is also starting to grab and pull things in the play mat. He has made the octopus sing several times by pulling on it.

Juliet is doing great also! She is so sweet to her brother and sometimes a little overly Kissie but that's okay! She is learning a lot in school and has started to count everything when she gets home from school. I just can't explain how funny she is she makes me laugh every day and puts a smile on my face!
