Easter fun

Juliet had lots of fun in Pittsburgh for Easter and was so excited to see everyone, here are some pictures from the weekend.

What's new with my cute little 8 month old?

Hi everyone, wanted to give a quick update before I put pictures up

Juliet had her 8 month check up and she is 18 1/2 pounds now, it was not a wellness check up so we didn't get to measure how tall she is that will happen next month.

Juliet still loves to go to the park and we have been enjoying the nice weather this week!!! She can now stand on her own for about 10 whole seconds, it's crazy to watch her balance for so long. She is also getting better at cruising and walking while holding on to furniture and using her walker (yes we got her a walker, even though it said 9 months and up!). As far as crawling she can do an army crawl very slowly but prefers to stand and cruise around the furniture. Juliet is also very ticklish and if you give her kisses on her belly she will giggle, it's so cute. Love my little girl :)

MAMA!

Okay not sure if she "knows" what she is saying or not but I SWEAR juliet is starting to say mama to me! I have heard it several times and so has John and juliet's nanny... She is becoming quite a talker all of a sudden :) She's a MaMa's girl!

What's new? Juliet learned how to Clap her hands this past weekend! I really didn't know she could get more adorable than she already is but it's super cute when she claps and waves. Every morning when I go into her room to get her up for the day she waves hello to me. Ha ha. So funny.

Her favorite things to do is still to stand and she is pulling up to stand one her own much more. There are a few video's so show her pulling up below. She is still struggling to work out how to crawl but she will get there one day or skip it all together! Right now I'm just enjoying the stage before she is able to get into everything. Right now she can move around somewhat but not as good as if she could crawl.

Kisses! I was reading Juliet a book called "Counting Kisses" and in the middle of it she grabbed my face and gave me a big kiss on my face! I love that she knows how to give hugs and kisses now, it's so cute.

Waving bye-bye

What? I'm not getting into anything, just being good... I also got my SECOND tooth this weekend. Now I have two bottom teeth Juliet loves to take a ride on her daddies shoulders So once Juliet learned to sit up on her own around 5 months she could stand to lay down anymore, now that she can stand she hates to sit and wants to stand all the time! She can even balance without holding on to anything for a few seconds. You should know one of the worst things you can do to Juliet is wipe her face, she hates it so much... Please Mom just leave the food on my face! Our little family :) Juliet started waving this weekend and it is about the cutest thing ever! Once she got started she was waving at everything, mommy, daddy, the cats, the people on TV. So cute.
