Happy six months & three and half years Caleb and Juliet

Caleb is doing much better now how we have put them on special formula for allergies. His skin has also cleared up from the eczema. I did dairy free for about 4 weeks total which helped a lot also. Now Caleb only gets up once at night and he starting to sleep in his crib! He does still get up at 5 AM a lot of mornings and is ready to play... sleepy mom. He likes to sit up most the time and is starting to get up a little bit on all fours and rock back and forth. He also loves to stand with the support of mommy and daddy. But most of all he loves to smile at people and watch them smile back :) 

Juliet is doing great also she loves imaginary play makes to play Pirates and princesses. The only TV show she wants to watch now is Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Her vocabulary is amazing and she picks up phrases all the time that make me laugh. As I said before she's pretty much done with her nap so now she goes to bed around seven and gets up at seven so it's nice to have them on a similar schedule. Juliet is still great with her little brother and get some lots of hugs and kisses. 

Snow snow everywhere

We just got hit with 24 inches of snow and have been house bound for the past two days. We are trying not to go stir crazy!!! Juliet has put on fashions shows for me and I have listened to "let it go" from the movie Frozen about 100 times. Caleb has been much easier during the days but night are still hard since he gets up between 3-5am and will cry for almost two hours before going back to sleep. It's exhausting and I don't get more than 5-6 hours of sleep each nigh b/c he still wakes often. He also still won't sleep in his crib but is in the rock and play in his room. Hopefully we all get sleep soon!!!

Waving and trying to make new sounds

Caleb has been waving at us lately when we weave it him it's so cute! He now sits up most the time this is his favorite position to be upright and watching us. Caleb's favorite person is still Juliet and he also likes quest the cat a lot :) in fact he is very gentle with the cat and pets them softly unlike Juliet who often pulled his hair. Juliet is still so sweet with Caleb and helps out a lot she is now not taking a nap most days but it's kind of nice cause she's in bed now at 7:30. Caleb has started to make new sounds and I swear he can say hi! He's also got the hang of eating solids and he eats one fruit and one vegetable a day. Below he has some prunes on his face :)

My little farty baby

We went to a specialist yesterday for Caleb's poop/gas problems and it was not much help :( The specialist doesn't think there's anything wrong with him other than infantile dyschezia which is a condition that makes it hard to poop :( he says it goes away after 6 months of age??? I hope the little guy starts to do better soon, I hate to see him strain and have all this uncomfortable gas. I also gave up gluten and dairy for three weeks trying to see if that helped. I think it did but the specialist told me to eat normal and he does not think he had a sensitivity to any of those foods. We shall see... Here is some pictures is the kids.

Happy new year and other holiday fun!

Caleb just turned 4 months about two weeks ago and we have had a little harder time with him when it comes to sleep then we did with Juliet. He is a super happy baby but also gets this bad gas that keeps him up at night. We just took him to the 4 month appointment and he is only 13 pounds 12 oz which puts him in the 25 percent for weight and he is in the 45th percent for height at 25 inches. His head is 16 & 3/4 inches which is in the 50th percent. Caleb is very interested in playing and loves to watch his sister or the cat. He also smiles every time you talk to him but when he is hungry watch out! You better feed him right away :) He is still getting up about 5 times a night which is very tiring and we think he may have some food allergies or a sensitivity. We are taking to him to a GI specialist for the gas and spit up issues. Hopefully he will just get better as time goes on.

We spent new years at the Abernathy's house with the Thomas family and it was a lot of fun! The girls and boys played really well together.

Juliet went bowling with her friends for the first time and she had fun! We did duck pin bowling and she was interested in playing a "game"

Caleb was part of the Christmas eve church service! The pastor took him up and talked about baby Jesus. It was cute :) Juliet loved to hold the candle but were a little worried she would burn herself or something else so kept a good watch on her.

It was in the 60's the other week and Juliet was able to find ice still left over to play in!

I took Juliet to the nutcracker with some friends this year, she liked it but got bored towards the end!
