Happy 21 months

Eating at the table like a big girl!

 We have been so busy moving that I have been really bad at updating the blog! We have 80% of our moving done and really LOVE our new house :) Juliet calls it "new house" and seems to love it also because there is actually room for her to run around.

We can walk to old Ellicott city from our house or be there by car in about 2 minutes, so we are taking advantage and grabbing breakfast at a local coffee shop.

We are still making time for fun even though we have been busy, I guess I can not yell at Juliet if she gets a little muddy. We did the Warrior Dash with my co-workers.

Spring break 2012

We were at a friend of a friends house in Cape May NJ for spring break this year and it was a blast. There was an indoor pool that Juliet loved, we had to drag her out of the pool everyday. I think she would have spent all day slashing around.

18 month check up (a little late)

We went to the doctors today and got our 18-month statistics. Juliet is 95 percentile for height at 34 inches and at the 50th percentile of weight at 25 pounds. WOW, we have one tall ladybug :) Juliet was so good at the doctors, she usually screams her head off but did not cry at all (other than for about one minute when she got her shots) I was so proud of her.

19 months

We did an early Easter in Pittsburgh and had a lot of fun with Ba Ba, Aunt Helen, cousin Allison, Aunt Missy, & Uncle BC! Here are some pictures from our trip.

Juliet is also really starting to talk like a "big" girl! She is putting 3-5 words sentences together all the time now. She will say things like "Mommy, you do it" "Mommy, eat it" "Mommy, you draw it" "Draw a circle" "Kick the ball" "Daddy let's go outside" It's crazy how much she is talking in sentences.

Juliet is also learning her ABC's! Every time she sees letters she says "The ABC's!" It's so funny. We have magnet letters and she ofter will pull the O off and tell me "O" She also knows the letter F.

Juliet's new love is ELMO!

We were all laughing about how much she loved socks as a present, she is really into trying to put her clothes on all by herself and picking out her "outfits" in the morning. She will stand in front of her closet and say "Hummm, outfit"

Juliet is also so impressed and into her cousin Allison!

18 months plus

She built this all by herself, looks like a house, ha ha!

Juliet has be so active lately and very verbal, she knows so many works and is making two word statements all the time like "love you" "more cheese" "all done" "Clean up" "see ya" (love when she says see ya when we leave for work!) She is also imitating everything, she will take john's work bag and say "bye bye" and walk towards the door. When we ask, "Juliet where are you going?" She says "work!" She has most of her basic shapes down and how to say them, she knows circle, square, oval, triangle, rectangle, heart, and star. She knows some colors like pink, purple, black and blue. She points at anything pink in the house and says "Pink!" So I think that is her favorite color. It amazes me how much she learns every day. Juliet is also going through a protesting bedtime stage. When we ask her if she wants to go to bed she simply says "NO" and then when we start reading her bed time books she keeps asking for "more books, more books" we read to her for over a half an hour or more before bedtime. Another random thing: Juliet is obsessed with is any kind of ball (our little jock!). She can count to three if you prompt her with saying one, she will say two three :)

Look, it's a bird, it's a plane, it's Juliet all dressed up for a party!!! She knows what the word party means now, so every time I say "Juliet, do you want to go to a party?" she get soooo excited and shouts "Party! Party!" I think she is a little social bug.

Juliet loves Quest! I'm not sure the cat signed up for this but he was "kid free" for almost 10 years so he can handle it in his old age!
