Port discovery

I took Juliet on her preschool field trip to port discovery yesterday and we had a lot of fun. It was the first time I had ever been there. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Juliet is also doing great with her big girl bed and has slept 4 nights in a row with out getting out of bed.

I am also 16 weeks pregnant today and had a doctors appointment. Everything looks good the baby's heartbeat is around 140 (much lower than Juliet's) Another sign of a boy? Maybe. I'm feeling pretty good except for some headaches and I have gained about 7 pounds so far But my belly is much bigger than last time at this point.

Big girl bed

Well Juliet wasn't ready to sleep in her big girl bed over the weekend but she insisted on sleeping in it Sunday night. It took her about an hour and a half to fall asleep but never left her bed or got up out of her room. When I left for work at 8 AM she was still sleeping away and I took this picture!

Is there a cuter age then 2 1/2?

I just want to say I love the twos! Yes Juliet sometimes has temper tantrums and tells me " NO!" but for the most part it has been so much fun. I love that she calls me her "best friend" every day and makes me laugh all the time. I love how silly she is and how she's discovering new things every day. I love her cute little toddler smile and how affectionate she is.
On another note, Juliet has her big girl bed set up and she is trying to sleep in it but so far she's gotten too scared to actually fall asleep and wants back in her crib. She is growing up so fast so I don't mind it's taking her a while to adjust to the big bed.

15 weeks

15 weeks already! Feeling good and starting to finally get over my cold. I'm always hungry and my belly is so big compared to last time ;)

14 weeks!

I'm 14 weeks today and officially out of my first trimester! Everything has been going good but I've had a couple of colds in a row so feeling a little under the weather :( I've also had pretty severe headaches and I think it has to do with the colds not the pregnancy. I started to feel the baby move pretty early with this pregnancy around 10 weeks!!! I have been really hungry lately also and I have been craving hardy meals like chili. I love this little baby already :) Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I've also added some pictures from the Baltimore Blast game that Juliet went to she had fun! It was an alumni cheerleading game so I got to dance at the game and Juliet got a kick out of watching. We just ordered Juliet's big girl bed and it should be here this week there's a picture of her sitting on her new furniture. And finally there's a picture of Juliet with her new manicure that the nanny gave her!

Baby's Sonogram scan at 13 weeks



My Belly at 13 weeks! Oh man it is twice as big this time around, ha ha.



Collins baby 2 was a sleepy one at the sonogram. Nothing like Juliet who was crazy and high kicking & dancing all around. We saw "him" (just using that term for now) moving around but he mainly wanted to curl up in the fetal position and sleep. I did almost cry because I was so happy to see the baby. Juliet and John were there with me to see the baby and Juliet was very excited to see her new brother or sister. Everything looks good so far, the baby is growing and all the parts are there. They said from the measurements there is a low change of down syndrome which is what they test for in this first scan.



My Pregnancy this time around has been a little different I was very nauseous in the first trimester and felt worse than I did with Juliet but I am feeling much better now and have way more energy. I was craving sweets in the beginning but now I just want to eat big meals all the time like chili!



So during the sonogram the lady asked me "so do you want to find out the sex of the baby?" I said "YES!!! I can't wait", then she said "well I think it's a BOY! Here is his penis" I am not sure if you can make it out in the picture above but there are two legs and something in between the legs. She told me that they can not be 100% sure until the 20 week sonogram so don't go buying a bunch of boy clothes but she was pretty sure it was a boy.



More cute baby! The heatbeat this time around was 156, much lower than Juliet's ever was.
